I can see I have been greatly missed while I have been away. So missed that no-one noticed I was gone but thats ok. I will be strong like andrex, but not as absorbent.Well, we were supposed to be going to Italy for our hol's but what with all the planes dropping out the sky and my irrational fear of flying that kinda put pay to that. So we went to glamorous, nay exotic Cornwall instead. It's a pretty place and I thought I would show you some pretty pics too. The largest geeenhouse in the WORLD!!!!! Inside the largest greenhouse in the WORLD!!!!! We were staying in a lovely little B+B in Newquay. Newquay being the surf capital of the UK. I have no intrest in surfing but it looks good on photos. Ta-da! Ok slideshow over. Anyone want to see the slides of my last 10 holidays. You do! Great.... *evil cackle* |

My grandmother lives in Falmouth near Newquay and when we were visiting we went to see the surfing competitions. That place is mad. Nice photographs Laz, even though you basically visited a bubble. |

It was a nice big bubble! We went there on a rainy day to stay dry but then it went nice anyway. We also went to the Tate gallery in St Ives, saw seals in Gweek, went to the End of the Land and got pissed in the walkabout Australian bar at night. We visited Falmouth on the same day as the oyster festival, what fun! I love Cornwall, I have decided that I'm going to get married there and move there in a few years time. Well, it's on my wish list anyway. The only problem was the 333 mile drive and as I can't drive it wasn't much fun for Tom.... *evil cackle* |

No! Cornwall is a shitty, crazy place full of old people. They go there to retire. The only young people are surfer dudes who go there in the summer or weird art students in funny little wollen hats. It is a stupid place which should be cut off the end of England and left to float far far away...[This message has been edited by manic_224 (edited 10-15-2001).] |

My main complaint about Cornwall is the Cornish people, they are very strange. The surfers/old people/weird art students can be found in loads of places. Cornish people tend not to. |

NO!I love Cornwall! It's ten billion times better than where I am now. I was happy there and am sad here. I am an old person let me retire in peace.... |

Face it, Laz, you just want to live inside the big greenhouse and be one with nature and hug trees and all that hippie-ish stuff, and at the same time be completely uninterrupted by the outside world and all of its fractious politics and whatnot.Hmm...if only they didn't kick you out at closing time. |

Cornwall? I've always wanted to go on a biking tour of North Cornwall... Anyway, I'm amazed by that greenhouse. I swear I've seen it before. |

Do they make cornish pasties? And surf; you call that surf? When the surf is like that in Australia, we go skateboarding instead. |
