LightChaser Chimp with diapers	posted 09-23-2000 01:54 PM In case anyone has been wondering where I've been I'll fill you in. Well it is a long story, but to make a long story short I was driving around and found the most beautiful spot. It was all rocky and the earth tones were so spectacular I've been wrapped up in a painting. It sounds like it would be easy, but I had to wait and capture the setting in the perfect light. (They don't call me lightchaser for nothing, ha ha ha ha ) I know, it sounds kinda crazy but I'm obsessive like that. When I take a picture of it I'll post it here and you can tell me if it is any good. Does anyone else in the gang like to paint?
ickleSlayer Monkey	posted 09-23-2000 02:02 PM Um, ok, hi, who are you? And that's nice that you have a... hobby. There is no gang, atleast I hope not, because that'd be really not sound. And yea, I paint sometimes but not landscapes.
manic_224 Monkey	posted 09-23-2000 03:06 PM i'm doing a-level art in my school so i kinda have to paint. i enjoy it, maybe not as much as you do, and i don't do landscapes. usually i just paint still life or people or stuff in oil or watercolour, although i'm better at oil. ------------------ i drink to make other people more interesting.

Altough I do like to tell painters that their stuff sucks. (unless its good of course... and I've seen very few landscapes that I actually liked.) That must count for something.

FatJohnny ZooKeeper	posted 09-25-2000 06:28 AM I have friends who are painters. My girlfriend actually just sold a painting for a local exhibit. But me, no artistic talent whatsoever. Although I like to break things and try to tell people that it's art.

Britt ZooKeeper	posted 09-29-2000 11:00 AM Oh...I draw (pencil, watercolour pencils), paint (oil & watercolour) and sculpt (clay). I've also started making martini glasses, plates and tiles out of clay. I've even sold a few! YAY for me!

manic_224 Monkey	posted 10-11-2000 02:06 PM i've been painting scenery for our play in school for the last three weeks. ugh, it's so awful cause everything has to be drawn to scale and it's all so huge and my teacher keeps waiting til after we've done something and then tells us the measurements have to be altered. ohhhh i hate her i hate her. but i get high on fumes all day so i'm all giggly. it's funny. but they're also giving me this little short cough which is doing my head in.
