Slacker...latest purchase..."Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy". Comments? (I'm happy!)

The making of it and the out-takes is particularly interesting.

Two excellent things about it:

Most of the stuff makes sense in a weird way; for example Deep Thought comes up with 42 being the answer to *everything*, one of reasons it gave is 'cos 7X7 = 42 (or something equally dumb). But only by using base 8 would this be valid- thus pointing towards some phsysics and math need to be worked out in a different numbering system...

Also, it's totally Fucking kickass when you're blitzed.
Where's the tea?

I knew it was something like that, however the base 8 crap is right. I didn't work it out for myself, but if you consider 8 the highest single number... blah blah.

Thing is though...the argument was that THAT was why the universe was so essentially fecked up!

What I was getting at was that you do need to use alternate base systems in physics, a point ironically reiterated by the plot.
Anyways there's loads more (nerdy) real life stuff you can apply to it.

And yes, yes. The point is that's why the universe is fucked.

And uhuh, I know most of it's coincidence.

...but do try the stoned thing
