1 lucky penny which I found this morning and a fortune from the fortune cookie that I had at lunch which says:
You or a close friend will be married within a year
Lucky Numbers 8, 17, 37, 38, 41, 44 (If anyone wins the lottery based on these I want a cut)
The back of the fortune says: Learn Chinese Friend = Peng-you

Lessee...I keep nothing in any normal pockets, but let's see what's hiding in my winter coat....

pocket #1:
-Wallet (a whole micro-universe in and of itself, its contents are much more interesting than my pockets)
-loose change
-loose bills (cool, I now have all of $8 to my name)
-extra buttons for my coat
-auto insurance card (almost expired)
-temporary drivers license renewal card (expired, haven't gotten my new one yet...oops)

pocket #2:
-cellular phone
-adapter to plug cellular phone into car's cig lighter
-directions to a charity where we dropped off my old car back in December
-receipt from gas station dated 10/4/99 from a town I never heard of
-two balled-up straw wrappers

Most of the stuff I carry around is in my car...that little black bug is full of crap

Like Slacker, I don't carry things in my pockets...that's what my purse is for. HOWEVER, I do have a few things in my coat pockets:

  • $2.85
  • My Nordstrom credit card
  • A receipt from Nordstrom for the purchase of (way too many) Stila cosmetics, my latest addiction...
  • Half a roll of CreamSavers (the orange ones) - yet another addiction
  • My bus pass

    Ooooooh...settle down now...excitement over.

Hm. We were digging today, a ridiculous faux-archeaology thing at school, so:

*A rag to wrap around my hand, no splinters from shoddy spades for this cat (screamed Indiana Jones somehow, too)

*A pocket knife for dirt scraping precision.

*Winfield Golds (I am a teenaged victim of advertising)

*Matches ala Switzerland, thanks to Katya.

*A note pad. Since getting Napster I write down any good songs I think of\hear.

Don't have anything intresting in my pockets/backpack, just the usual keys/wallet/mobile phone drill.

the only thing worth mentioning is that i have to carry with me, wherever i go, some aloe-vera gel because i got realy badly sun burned all over my face.

I'm rubbing this gel on my face like every 20 minutes for the last 4 days, and i still look like something from an E.R. episode, and i'm peeling like an onion.

    Don't i feel stupid.

rumages through the rest of her pockets and her backpack

    Okay....here we go....

In my backpack there is the following:
    1. My writing notebook. I never leave home without. Always carry it around so if I get any writing ideas I can work on them.
    2. My Latin book. Never go to school without it
    3. My Spanish Work Book. Juntos Numero Dos.
    4. Some lose papers that have escaped their notebook and/or binder.
    5. My CD player for the bus and anytime the power goes out.
    6. All the batteries that I yell at every day for not working.
    7. The batteries that work.
    8. My CDs

Now your wondering where are my actual school books? Well I don't carry them around. I keep one set at school and one at home. Each book in it's respective class.

    My coat pockets:
    1. Poptart Wrapers from two weeks ago
    2. Nerds.
    3. Movie Ticket Stub to Hanging Up.

    That's about it.
