Every wednesday in the paper we get a section which is mainly geared at a ritzy neighborhood in Dallas. I personally like to read thei police reports, because they are rather comical, because people report when someone hangs up on them on the phone, and if someone peels out within eighteen miles of their house. So anyways I was readint the reports today, and as it turns out a poor kid got his car broken into, and he lost his $1350 stereo, a $650 cd player, and over $2700 in CDS...
Does that make any sense at all, I mean, damn why would you leave 270 cds in your car??? I swear some people just have more money than they need... ------------------ "All Creative People Procrastinate..."

Exactly! I know I'm pegging myself a hypocrite to say this, but I don't feel all that bad when rich people get ripped off. |

personally I encourage it...I think from now on I am going to leave a manilla envelope in the seat of my truck and when someone breaks in to steal my stero they will look insidde the envelope and see photos of rich peoples cars with even nicer stereos, and then they will leave mine alone and go for the rich peoples cars.... ------------------ "All Creative People Procrastinate..."

I've picked up used CDs (in perfect condition) for as little as $5, and paid as much as $18. The local music store regularly sells the top 50 new CDs for $10-12, so I try to get them there when they first come out. What do you pay in Australia? Do they have used CD stores? If not, that would be an excellent business opportunity...they do BIG business here. |

ok so I averaged the price out. TIs true new cds run around 12-14 bucks. but I do alot of used CD shopping an cane get them for 8.99. good deal eh???Cds in italy were way expensive, something like 20 bucks, that was for the ones from America. But when I picked up two Pearl Jam cds that were printed in England they were only 12 bucks, and if i would have bought the same in the states they would have been around fifty.. I love bootleg imports... ------------------ "All Creative People Procrastinate..."

I never realised how cheap CD's are in the States. Over here you can expect to pay beetween 13-16 Irish Pounds for a latest realese, thats probably about 19-22 US Dollars. You guys have it made. |
