Okay, I'll say it: does anybody else think that they got Lara's chest wiggle right in the film or is it just me?

I've never played the game, however....

She's wearing a pushup padded bra in the movie.
She's got junk in the trunk, but not enough treasure in the chest.

You need to go on Jenny Craig, not Jenny Jones!

From what I hear the movie is not so endowed in the plot department. Never played the game either, but I did play Resident Evil once, and they're making a movie out of that.

Well, I might go see it...or keep on watching that U2 video for it. Talk about one hell of a song.

Can U2 do any wrong, or is that next?

I might see the movie, though I'm not sure.

When there's a movie based on a video game, the movie usually falls short in the plot department and sometimes looks corny.

I dont plan on seeing it simply because of the fact that it's entire existence is based on the teenage boys (aka, walking hormones) wanting to see Angelina Jolie walk around in tight clothes and shoot at things. Not that I'm entirely opposed to that but I'd like to have some plot at the very least. (What can I say, I'm a walking hormone too ).

I'm just gonna watch it to see Angelina speak in a different accent.

And Chloe Sevigny is staring in it. ^^!!

But the plot is weirder than most RE plots.

The Resident Evil movie is gonna suck, because they originally had the guy who directed Evil Dead on the job, but he was released, and now they're totally straying from the plot-line of the video games.

Angelina Jolie is hot and sexy, her performance in Girl, Interrupted makes her possibly my favorite actress. Sociopathy rules, period.

Plus, she's gonna be Lara Croft. I mean, I know I sound like your typical Tomb Raider geek, but who cares. I played up to Last Revelation before I finally got sick of the whole series.

And who cares about plot-line, there's gonna be stunts. With Jolie. Need more be said?

Not much more.

I think this year will be kind of a dud for movies. I'm waiting for next year for Spider-man and the X-Men sequel.

Well, I guess I get to be the first to say I officially saw Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

Jolie pretty much carried the movie. There were parts that were somewhat witty, others that were mildly exciting, some that you just kind of watched in confusion, and finally, parts that simply made one groan out loud.

Considering the movie is aimed towards a younger audience, yet most people who have enjoyed the Tomb Raider series fully are teenagers or young adults, there seemed to be a lot of snickering at certain parts, and even an outright "Guffaw."

I liked the movie to some extent, but its definitely no Indiana Jones.

Though it is the first successful game-to-movie conversion, and I personally hope they have a sequel to develop Croft's character more. Maybe the developers of the game coming out for PS2 and screenwriters can work in conjunction to make the Tomb Raider series live on strong. They probably never would though.

All times are ET
