Actually, I didn't...nor did I watch it or even remotely care about it. I was either watching "South Park: The Movie" again or the last part of "Fight Club," which I think is one of the most brilliant movies that I have ever seen.

No, I didn't see Russell Crowe win an Oscar for best actor, or Gladiator win the best picture Oscar. And I didn't get angry at Julia Roberts's clevage is worth to hold up an Oscar for a movie that panders for the award instead of actually entertaining or such.

No, the Oscars are just another way for people to make more money off the stupid in this world. Their measure of quality ranks in importance near bellybutton lint and the very early episodes of MASH.

I had a good night. I watched movies instead of watching movies congratulate themselves. Thank you.

I watched Independence Day for the scrillionth time (they play the worst movies against events like this) and caught the Bob Dylan performance. This guy actually gets more coherent as he gets older.

I'm really pissed cos I was doing some stuff and coming back to the TV every now and again to catch what was going down.

I missed Dylan but I caught Randy Newman and the girl from the Bangles (SHIT) and, later, Bjork (even SHITTIER). She is living proof that you could record an asthmatic budgierigar and some people would buy it.
