I went to the movies at the Cape Cod Mall today and was waiting in the arcade for a member of my party to go through another store, before the movie had begun.Of course there were some fun games like, Area 51, Star Wars Trilogy, SW: Episode 1 Pinball, Cruising World, ect. All making beautiful music to this game/arcade lover's ears.
Yet there was this one game, if you would call it that, that made the owrst sound in my life. The sound of people being electrified. Not video game people generated by the computer, but real people. People who spent money on this game to see how much juice they can stand.
This game of *fun* is called Adams Familly Generator. Anyone hear of it? Or seen it? It has a big Uncle Fester with a light bulb in his mouth that lights up when you reach the max amount.
Point of the game: You grab these metal handles, that conduct the current, and pop in your 75 cents or how much it costs. You then pick the strength of the charge, low medium or high. And try to withstand the energy going through your body.
More than two people can play this game. One hold one handle, the other the other one, and they inturn hold hands making a complete circit.
When I first saw it some loony was showing off to his girlfriend I guess, but he was paying for it. He started at low I guess and worked his way up to high. i could tell by how many times Fetser lit up like a Christmas Tree. He looked like he could barely hold on any longer.
Later some girls tried it, three of them at one time. The one on the right jolted everytime she got the electricity through her.
Now weren't these types of games considered harmful to people? Like ones with heart problems? Now I bet you'll say there is a warning against that on there. Maybe there was but I didn't see any when I checked it out to see what it was.
People are getting stupider by the day, who would actually do something like that? I admitt I do some pretty stupid stuff, but nothing like that.
