Yes that's right; after 15 weeks of unemployment, I have re entered the workforce.The job I've scored pays $5,000 a year less than my last job but I've still got $95,000 left from my redundancy payments, so I figure I should be OK for at least the next 19 years. Either that or throw a mega party and blow the $95k. Wadda you reckon. |

Welcome back to the forum, Exile. Missed your sparkling charm and witty company. And am very glad you have found worthwhile employ.I'd say a small party to celebrate would not be unreasonable...  Go for it... ------------------

I say get a fairly decent system, a good connection, and go nuts downloading MP3s and selling them to others for low prices. That and breaking into porn sites. |

I'm really glad you got something exile. I've been through that redundancy thing (back in '92) and it's no fun.Good luck with the new job. Oh yeah - the party sounds good to me!!  |

No, I'll bring the booze. Course the catch is you have to come to Perth to drink it.Lotus; yes, still in the CBD. In the tallest building in Perth; right across the road from where you and Gypsy stayed. I'm on the 35th floor which is a little scary folowing recent events. |
