Does anyone have any knowledge of just how far away we are from having teleportation devices? It would be far easier to use them than trust the airlines and a hell of a lot faster than driving everywhere? Hey Lotus, the trips to and from England would be a snap hey! Cheers |

Hey there WarDog...teleportation would indeed be a very good thing ASAP...because otherwise, right now...my next trip back won't be for another 6 years. I've logged up 125 hours to-ing & fro-ing, and that is more than enough. Greetings by the way. Do you come here often? ------------------ This is a LOC-AL forum for LOC-AL people...there's nothing for you here! |

I handcuff my socks to the radiator to stop them disappearing. They must never leave. |

Ahah that would be the sock monster , what you need is a little mesh bag used to do your delicate smalls in . ------------------ LIFE IS BUT A FLEETING MOMENT IN TIME , ENJOY WHILE YOU CAN |

Why a sock bag? I just use Rover from the Prisoner to keep my socks from bolting. Of course, the torturing to ask them 'why did you resign' is just a secondary pleasure. |

Hey Lotus,As often as I can, but then again, you know just how archaic Darwin is and just how much time I spend on course or out field at the moment. Alas, I must travel by the power of my Nissan otherwise i'd be on foot!

Hey Lotus, unfortunately that little transfer is underway atm. I'm down in melbourne until June this year, then I return home in a non-explosive capacity |

Let's just hope that he doesn't invent some type of deadly inert gas, killing thousands by doing this!

Try minus 7 sometimes in 2 inches of snow (in Glossop). Actually kinda fun! Gotta love the novelty value... |

Glossop is a *really* nice town. If it just had a Piccadilly Records and Old Trafford then it would be perfect. |

Lotus... As far as i'm concerned, Melbourne is a punishing place, the females don't like to talk to anyone and nobody knows how to drive, its cold and i'm away from my wife. |

Melbourne...a very nice place to visit though (Bluebottle & Mrs live there)...but would be better if you had your girl with you. |

Yes i miss the wife, the queen size bed and the lovely temperature but i'm not knocking the extra gaming time The single beds down here are shocking, i'm pretty sure i'm the only one down here who has a heater going 24/7[This message has been edited by WarDog (edited 03-06-2002).] |

Mmmmm...don't think I could stand to be away from my fiance for any length of time right now. Was too difficult being so far away from him when he left Australia. |

It is difficult. Me and the other half have been together for very nearly two years and for the entirety of that period we've lived 200 miles apart. I think you just learn to appreciate the time you have together and take advantage of it to the fullest. |
