Once again, feel free to post things that make you feel happy in this thread.Happy thought: Played a few rounds of DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) recently and turned in some sterling performances. 1. Scored an S twice on Butterfly. 2. Scored a double-S (equivalent on the Playstation is a triple-A) on Boom Boom Dollar. When the game displayed a pair of golden S's on the screen, I raised my arms in victory and shouted "Oh yeah!" That double-S came after one of those aforementioned S's on Butterfly. 3. Tried Dynamite Rave and didn't fail! For once, I made a B on a Marvelous (5-foot) track and didn't run out of breath. 4. Some recent times I played DDR at the arcade, I attracted some crowds. When I finish a track like Dam Dariram by Joga, I get a good round of applause. [This message has been edited by Lord Destroyer (edited 02-27-2002).] |

I didn't get hit by lightening (yet). I'm visiting some friends tonight I haven't seen in a while. Would like to go to that WCON2 thing, but the distance and the fact that I live in the Continent don't help. Also, I'm a newbie. There was something more Lotus |

Live on the continent? Or live in a different continent? Which, CA? Newbie, schmewbie...you're a monkey. In my books, you've passed your "trial". And the "not hit by lightning", and visiting friends, are two very good things indeed. |

Ish - Other things make me happy, okay? You posted as such in another thread that you never saw DDR, so what do you know about it? Seeing is believing.Tile - Har, har, har. It never fails. Less than 10 posts into this thread and it turns into a "hassle somebody because they enjoy playing a certain game" thread. *sighs* [This message has been edited by Lord Destroyer (edited 02-27-2002).] |

While he was doing well on the Normal Dynamite Rave, I was doing the difficult Trick variety of the same track. One word - easy. I'm near the 6th month playing it, so I should be getting close to being able to handle the 8 and 9 footers. I've perfected 1 - 7.Clan news. Got a friend of mine to join my clan. About freaking time... On CS - recently have been scoring near a 1:1 ratio in a server known for cheaters, even though I don't cheat (if you don't believe me, get AdminMod and run it while running CS - it'll scan any computer that joins it for any hacks whatsoever, and should there be a hack, the WON ID will be reported to a certain website as well as the screenname). Been playing the KOF series - 96 and 97 seem to be my major points of interest. |

Okay, thanks, Ish. I apologize, some of my recent post was uncalled for - just stressed out, mind you.Seems to me you saw some newbies at the game. Either that or those attempting to freestyle (what I call showing off) but they lacked the coordination to do it. Okay, happy thought NOT having anything to do with DDR: Looking forward to June 4th - UHF (a movie I like) is going to be released on DVD! I owe you an apology too, Tile. Since you asked, I shall provide.I'm sorry, Tile. What you posted about DDR (or SGR as you and Ish call it), I saw as a joke and had a good laugh about it. Ish - Hardcore players of SGR, you say? True hardcore players can easily handle Exorbitant (8-foot) and/or Catastrophic (9-foot) tracks. I don't fit in that description, unfortunately. A Marvelous (5-foot) track is enough of a challenge at the moment without my heart giving out. [This message has been edited by Lord Destroyer (edited 03-02-2002).] |

Both black kitties then I take it? We have a cute little black and white terror called TIGGA residing at our place...who is currently excellent at taking swipes at your head when you go past the internal stairs.Able to leap onto waist high counters with great ease to get to pieces of chicken intended for your curry meal that night! Faster than molten lava at racing you up those same internal stairs, and trying to trip you up with yet another swipe of those razor sharp claws of his. Bought him a "tigga" for Christmas, and it's really fun throwing it for him to fetch back to you. He lies there biting it behind the neck and kicking it with his back paws, Makes me feel very sorry for the squirrels in the back garden once he gets let loose in about 2 weeks time from now (after he has his final flu shots!) |

To answer your question Lotus, here's the lowdown:Ebony - Black with orange markings (the vet's office has her fur color listed as a tortoise-shell), and has short fur. Midnight - Completely black (though if you look closely, there are bits of brown fur here and there), and has longer fur than Ebony. A real meow-box if you ask me - she meows when she's hungry, wants attention, or for no reason at all. [This message has been edited by Lord Destroyer (edited 03-07-2002).] |

TIGGA is an impatient yowlie monster. He yowls if left behind the door for any reason. Wants to be where the action is, and tries to bolt for the door when anyone goes outside. Not yet! |
