Topic: Stupid ways to set your kitchen on fire

These two are real incidents that have happened to friends of mine in the last couple of years:-1) My friend Becky recently set her student flat's kitchen on fire whilst watching telly, after forgetting about the seaweed she'd put on the grill two minutes prior. For a similar effect, try putting dry grass under your grill for a few seconds and see what happens. 2) My friend Damien once set fire to his mum's brand new Ikea kitchen (no expense spared) one summer when he went to the bog for a crap whilst forgetting he'd just put the chip pan on to melt the fat. The moral of this story? There is no set time limit that your body sets itself for having a poo. This is why I eat take aways. ------------------ "It's Risk. Are you sure that your friend Damien isn't the kid from "The Omen" series of books/movies? Where if he is the fire was probably intentional. |

This isn't a kitchen + fire related post more a kitchen + stoner post.A friend of mine who shall remain unamed was round at his friends parents house. They both smoked large quanties of weed. My friend had obviously smoked a little too much and experienced a bad reaction to it. He was sat at the breakfast bar and started to have some kind of weird fit. He then fell off his stool as he was holding on to the breakfast bar and proceeded to pull the entire thing off the wall. His friend thought this was hilariously funny until he realised that the other guy was lying on the floor mumbling and frothing at the mouth. My friend was fine after about half an hour and his friends parents had to attatch the breakfast bar back onto the wall. Not quite sure how they explained that one. Made me laugh anyway... |

Speaking of weed, my friend Kevin arrives home the other night to find all of his family (parents, aunts, uncles, little brother etc.) getting completely stoned in his kitchen. I'm sorry, but that's just creepy. Parents aren't aloud to have fun.

Here's another way -I saw this thing on televison. A parent leaves a gas flame going on the stove in the kitchen. Child comes over with a little toy truck, climbs on it, and gets caught in the flame by its clothes. Next thing you know, the kitchen's aflame, the kid has 3rd degree burns and has spread it around, and the mother blames the makers of the stove. Ignorance at its zenith. Good god, what the hell is wrong with people... |

Some of my friends from awhile ago wanted to smoke their plant but it was to wet and would not burn so they tried drying out alot of it in the oven well needless to say they had some other weed and forgot about what was in the oven.To make a long story short their mother came home just as all the weed was in full burn the whole house was full of the thick dark smoke and the upper element of the stove was ruined funniest thing was is that she was to scared to open any doors or windows an was just as cooked as they were in the end.[This message has been edited by djgaming (edited 02-09-2002).] |

As a mother and grandmother I have to admit to recently being convinced that a good smoke was what I needed to increase my jaded appetite, result five and a half hours stuck to a bar stool pigging out on sausage sangers .WON'T BE DOING THAT AGAIN IN A HURRY ------------------ LIFE IS BUT A FLEETING MOMENT IN TIME , ENJOY WHILE YOU CAN |

It certainly helped your appetite though, Gyps. Wish I'd been a fly on the wall. |
