As I was saying in Slackers forum.
I got the “Mission Impossible” DVD from a friend. Talk about being forced into the 21st century. I don’t even own a DVD player.

Possible re-gift.

Nope. This Christmas I ACTUALLY GOT presents (as in not had a Christmas like this for years!)

My new soon-to-be in-laws bought me a really nice make-up kit, an ostrich leather desktop organiser, and a black stretch lace top...and my darling fiance bought me a PS2 controller, and professionally framed a "special" blown-up picture of us together, taken by Toadfish (whilst TB was in Australia.

All in all...the most wonderful Christmas I can recall having.

Jogger - no plans in the future for a DVD? Or is it that you also don't like "Mission Impossible"?

Nothing this year. So far I've gotten:

--one CD burner (complete with blank discs)
--the complete run of Monty Python on DVD
--Complete TV run of Planet of the Apes
--Four rare Doctor Who books
--etc.

So, none for me, thanks.

Couldn't believe my presents this year. I'm pretty sure my family has forgotten who I am.

*Soap on a rope (shaped like a pint of lager admittedly)
*Boots shower kit
*Football trivia book (great if I hadn't got it last year)

Can't remember the others, but I did get a book full of Bond quotes, which is just about the coolest book ever made (BOND RULES, chauvenism has never been so cool).

At least my mates know me, we made a pact, no presents, we all go to the pub on boxing day and drink ourselves silly as a present to each other.
