Gypsy, I finally got your postcards last night! Thank you so much. Sorry about all the return to senders.I had no idea that Brisbane was such a great looking city. It's certainly better-looking than Halifax, and probably smells better at 6 AM. Also loved those limestone pinnacles. Is that was this nodule is you sent me? It looks like a Skolithos concretion (a shallow sea fossil) that was probably calcified. The dorks at the post office must have broke it in half, because it was busted. I'm going to town today, so I'll see about picking you up something. Thanks again!  ------------------

Dried macaroni? WTF? LOL  Brisbane is a fairly nice looking city...very much a country town JUST going large. Not got that usual badly cluttered look like some have, RJ. Got any Halifax postcards you can send me then please? Don't think you have sent me one of them before. Did you get MY postcard alright from the Glasshouse Mountains??? |

Glasshouse Mountains? Aw, I didn't get that one. You didn't send it to Lawrencetown, did you? Uh oh...I got a really polished Peggy's Cove one I could send you, and I'll have a look around for a Dartmouth or Halifax one. Oh, and the dried macaroni refers to the fossil thingy she sent me. I'm sending you an e-mail tonight, I have something to tell you about. |

Okies then. And yes...sent it to the only address I had! Bad RJ! Will you still eventually get it? Hope so. Was a nice card...told the legend of the Mountains with a nice pic of them. Done any research on them then? |

Glad to hear you finally got it RJ and yes that was a piece ot the Pinicles you can see on the postcard ,I didn't break it off was found on the ground and it was in 1 piece when it left , has been for 10 years , oh well at least you got it .------------------

Aha! I thought so. I was going to test it with the acid and see if it was limestone, but that acid ain't cheap, let me tell you. Aw, too bad that you had it so long and it got busted so easily.No, Lotus, I didn't bother getting the redirect for the mail because it was thirty bucks, and I figured I'd just get back a bunch of PFO letters anyway (got one yesterday). |

ACTUALLY...good news! I thought I had mailed your card RJ...it had fallen down behind some other papers...I posted some others...but not yours! SO, all I have to do is scratch out the wrong addy and put the correct one on and BINGO! *YAY* |
