[i]In 1984, the world was introduced to "The Young Ones," a fine UK show that continued the Monty Python Absurdist Humor trend a bit further. However, after two seasons and 12 episodes, the show ended with the supposed deaths of all four cast members.

Or did it? In the mad search for missing UK programs, several BBC searchers found something completely unexpected: a dead rat from the year 2090. But behind that was several 16mm film reels for expected oversea sales. Most were original copies of several "Young Ones" episodes, but a few were new original episodes that never saw the light of day. Over the next few days, WZBU will air these episodes for the first time anywhere. The very first airs on the 10th, which is...

"BUMBITERS"--Neil, Rick, Vyvyan and Mike are out of alcohol so they attempt to get high on suppositories. Unfortunately, this makes them think they're members of "Doomwatch" (Alexei Sayle then poses as Wren trying unsuccessfully to defuse a bomb) and invade a nuclear power plant. The resulting explosion sends them to a future where giant mechas are destroying the whole world in a vain attempt to destroy the Mother Superior: a Giant Floating Stone Head That Looks Suspiciously Like Margaret Thatcher.

I wish I could see 'Bottom,' but it's all for naught when BBC America went insane and decided that all everyone wants to see of the British Isles is a bunch of cooking shows and dramas that feature crooked teeth and old castles.

Sure, some hot Brit chicks, but besides that...nothing...not even Doctor Who.
