...is to get me a smutty picture of a hot chick. This is a liitle joke I ma going to use for Tim, my ADIP instructor.

I had given him my proposal for my independent project with a big globe designed by ESRI. He gave me mine back and wanted to submit another, answering a few extra questions he had. For some reason, he gave it back to me with a "NO ESRI SYMBOLS" written on it.

So I says, "Okay, whatever you say." And I printed off this bikini chick and put that on the cover. At least it wasn't ESRI.

So now I have to do a PowerPoint Presentation (the dreaded PPP, bane of every graduate student's existance) and I want to have a real slut to put on there. Whoever gives me the best will win a FABULOUS PRIZE! However, she must be:

1) clothed, nothing naughty exposed;
2) not in any really suggestive positions;
3) brandishing any "hardware" (buzz-buzz, catch my drift? )

Do me proud, people!

Well let me say how truly disappointed I am in all of you for not finding me booty. It's a sad, sad testament to your non-unholiness. Lotus is indeed the winner, and I have used the pic of the girl in the bathing suit laying down (it's on the first slide). Her reward...dah-dah-dah-dahhhhhh......

It didn't go too bad. We were all reserved to about twenty minutes or so, but I went at least half an hour. Everybody did so far though, so no biggie. My little movie of the 433 Eros asteroid wouldn't play for some reason, so that was a bit of an embarrassment, but people generally laughed at my jokes. We have it so everyone is marking presentations, so making something memorable helps. Also there was a bit of praise for my bikini girl, but I think some of the women got offended. Geez, where's their sense of humour?

So I figure for my next presentation (on TOPEX/Poseidon) I'll just remember to keep it short, no woman .jpgs, and I should be okay. I don't know why everyone's so hesitant to do presentations. They're polished!

Well you went and got me in trouble now, Lo-lo! Seems that some of the women in the class did not appreciate my little joke .jpg, and it was commented on my little evaluation sheets that I was "humourous yet inappropriate." My instructor actually gave me an NSCC policy manual to refer, so I don't make another blunder in the future. I don't think he cared one way or the other, but I don't want him getting in trouble.

I think I'll just mass e-mail anyone who saw it and apologize. Should have known better than to pull a stunt like that. At least I'm not at Dal, I probably would have been brought up on charges.
