I can beat that Lotus - I've been to more of thise places than you have (nyah nyah!) Mind you, I was born in London ... Hey, remember the time Norman Gunston tried to use a Monopoly board as a map in London - he kept stopping people to ask the way while holding the Monopoly board. Everyone just shook their heads and thought he was an escapee from a loony bin (they were partly right!!!!). |

Saw a Welsh Monopoly Board today at Port Meirion...looked cool! Was VERY tempted to buy it...except that I am miles over my excess luggage allowance already! LOL |

Completed the full set of Monopoly places visited! In to Central London again yesterday. THIS time managed to get into the mummies exhibit in The British Museum, Zach dear! Was reading some info on one of the displays when a snotty-nosed school kid...pushed in front of me and stood right in my way, jumping on my toes. I just said in my best "frosty school marm-ish" tones "Ex-CUSE me"...and pushed him gently but firmly to one side. He looked at me and shot off. Hey, I missed out LAST time because of a hoarde of pushy brats. NOT this time! Waited too long to see them! (Worth the wait!) |
