I've just come home from work. For a Sunday it was unusually busy and there was only me and a supervisor there so it was pretty shit. But today, seeing as it was pissing down with rain, everyone decided "Hey, lets take a look in the chapter and verse bookstore. And, hey, why don't we take our whiney children in with us?" So you see, I have spent the last five hours picking up books after children who decide they want to knock them all down, re-doing a jigsaw that was on display, picking up and vacuuming up crisps and sweets, and listening to ridiculous parents talk to their whiney ugly little babies with only the use of vowels, or in tellytubby language. POINTERS FOR PARENTS: 1. If your children can not control their bowel movements, do not allow them in indoor public areas where air does not circulate properly. 2. Do not let your children go and pay for their book themselves. It is not cute. They can not reach the counter, they do not understand the person at the till, and the person at the till does not like engaging in a wrestling match with the child merely to scan the barcode of the product. 3. If your children want to sing, enrol them in singing classes. Do not let them perform for 15minutes straight in a shop, singing notes that even the most professional sopranos would not attempt. 4. If you wish for your children to play, take them to a park. Do not let them run around and around and around screaming at the top of their lungs, in some shop. 5. If your child wishes to explore the contents of his/her own nostrils, please take him/her somewhere private, not infront of the cashier. 6. The cashier does not want to hear what your child is doing in school, what he/she likes to read, or what you are all doing later. Please refrain from talking or letting your children talk to the cashier. Thankyou for your co-operation. [This message has been edited by manic_224 (edited 08-12-2001).] |

You have my sympathy. At least where you work they are not allowed to eat, right? |

Work is shit, yes indeed but even shitter is the fact that I get my AS exam results on Thursday. The funny thing is I've never gotten mine in the post before and I know that because my post comes quite early, I'll be in bed and my mother will come up with this envelope and stay there til I open it. Ah, well, good excuse for going and forgetting the rest of the day due to alcohol poisoning. |

Children and food do not mix. They don't seem to know how to hold on to it properly or even get it into their mouths. they can however spread it around onto everything they touch. As for results day, I find it's always best to book your holiday so that you are a few thousand miles away from your mother when the results arrive. I leave on wednesday. |

If kids learn by example, imagine what these little tykes home lives must be like. |

Manic I can only empathize with you. I am in the customer service industry as well. It is shit. For 8 hours a day I become the peoples accountant, map guide, tour guide, psychologist, personal therapist, weatherman, and basic know all. If the customers only knew what we were really thinking behind our compromising grins.

I have never worked a day in customer service in my entire life, and that's just the way I like it. |

Tragically, most jobs involve it in one way or another eventually. |

The boobies dont even neccessarily need to be big; even if they're on the smallish side, but dispayed very nicely, I'll give you better service. |

I quite like boobies as a general rule. Maybe if I worked in a bra store, I could live with customer service. But grandmas and super fatties buy bras too, don't they... hmmm. I apologise for dirtying the thought bulb icon with this post. |

Nothing disgusts me more then walking around the mall then seeing all these fat, out-of-shape, ugly women who have these hideous bodies carrying a bag from Victorias Secret. |

Boobies? How did we get on to this in my topic? And Tostito, even if you did work in a bra store they would never ever let you fit them, so calm your little erection dearest. Anyway, my exam results came yesterday. I am a star.
