I havent read the books, i havent done the coloring books,a nd I dont own the briefs. Well maybe the underoos.anyways I surprisingly enjoyed the movie, it was good, not wayne's world good, but good. what surpises me, is that i spelled 'suprisingly' correctly. hot damn. also there were some cool trailers also, helped it be a cool film. |

If you really want to be a dork you can buy some Harry Potter eyewear. |

Or if you want to make some money, steal two of the books, tie them together by the spine, and glue frames to them then call it Harry Potter eyewear. |

Harry Potter is annoying me because I work in a book store and all the little kids keep asking me where they are. It's funny though cause 30year old women come and buy them too and tell me how much they're enjoying them. Then they ask me have I read them and look at me like I've just told them I worship the devil when I say I haven't. No I haven't read the god damn books, although my best friend has and she says they're excellent although the last one is too 'commercialised' and JK Rowling's writing appears too conifident in it. But I actually do want to see the film, I have to admit as does my friend and all I've heard are good reviews so I guess I'll see it after the hype dies down a little. |

Manic, I know how you feel. I work at a video store now and whenever I tell someone that I couldn't watch the latest Sandra Bullock paycheck, I get a look that is usually reserved for those sent to the Tower of London for beating old women with a fake leg.And Slacker, you would be selling out: those books are quite a hefty price. Waiting seven years would save you quite a deal of change. |

Saw the film, not bad except that i have read the books and the movie misses a couple bits out, and i was sitting next to my sister who is a fanatic and kept telling me the whole way through- 'they missed this bit, and that bit, and they never said that in the book'. which as you can imagine is really annoying. |

Devoured the book on the Brisbane/Singapore leg of my flight (as I hoped to do!) EXCELLENT book, and cannot wait to read the others. Consider it a sell out or not, but you will miss a good book if you don't read it just because of excessive hype! |
