Incidentally, while the plot to wrestling is pretty much boring trash, even though everyone's favourite drugged up surfy ninja RVD is involved now, we just started getting WWF Tough Enough on cable here. I like it. I've only seen the one hour first episode but Tazz and Al Snow are cool, I am hoping it is good. It sucks to know Maven already won but I am thinking this is more of an interesting exercise in behind-the-scenes wrestling, rather than something that lends itself to predictions or betting pools like Survivor. Did you watch it, FJ?

Also is there going to be a second season? With contracts as the prize it seems a little unlikely but who knows. It is not like wrestling is known for it's integrity when it comes to hiring firing and promoting.

I watched it and loved it. A decent look at what wrestlers go through to get where they're at. At times it relies a little too heavily on the Survivor type shenanigans, but overall a great show. And there will be a tough Enough 2. They are sorting through the applications as we speak.

As for the contract, they are guranteed a 1 year developmental contract, meaning no gurantees about making it "big time".

I saw Maven and he seemed kinda bouncey. That is the extent of my wrestling critique on the guy.

What's the system, do they vote each other off, or is it by whoever does the worst week by week, or what?

The trainers and some other officials make the cuts. By the time some of the people get cut, you'll be cheering. One in particular.

I feel sorry for Maven, though. He's going to get so much backstage shit.

I want that guy (I don't remember any of their names) who got in by default when another one dropped out to go first.

Actually, it doesn't really matter if you know who won in the first place since the main failing of the show was that guy who gets taken over is always picked out in the first five minutes of the episode.

Through the big black guy who couldn't do anything and gets humilated at the grocery store only to get kicked out then is quite funny in a mean way.
