exile_11 ZooKeeper	posted 08-16-2001 04:27 AM Back in the days when I watched WWF religiously, the main dudes were people like Randy Savage, Junk Yard Dog and Jesse 'the Body' Ventura. (yes, I know I'm old). Last night I saw Jesse interviewed on the Leno show. As a politician the guy is an absolute fucking breath of fresh air. Minessotans, I congratulate you on your voting.
FatJohnny ZooKeeper	posted 08-16-2001 06:05 AM What I find funny about the whole Jesse V. deal (I am a fan of his, politically and for his work back in the day), is that people wanted a politician who would speak his mind, but once they got one, they wanted him to speak it less. You can't win.
catapault007 Monkey	posted 08-16-2001 07:40 AM My parents live in Minnesota and never heard of Ventura until election night. Talk about a shock to them when the "unknown" won. My dad thinks that Ventura is a fuck-up, but me personally is jealous that Minnesota has Ventura as Governor and North Dakota has a "career" politician [This message has been edited by catapault007 (edited 08-16-2001).]
