I never got the point of Marijuana for medicinal purposes. If it's pain related surely there are plenty of other natural treatments specifically suited to pain. If it's basically a free ticket for a terminal patient to have a little fun, then I approve of that, but G.P's must have a 'real' reason they give to the Right-Wing Soccer Mom's Union. |

The debate had been going on for a while up here, but the enacting of the legislation took most of us by surprise. I don't see any real evidence that medicinal marijuana is effective, and I think Tostito's right about just partying with their dope because they're terminal. Plus it's worse for your health than cigarettes, and it makes you stupid.No, you were right FJ, we're fucked up. |

Tostito would know, but Rockjock never will, that after indulging in a touch of the old herbal remedy, one could eat the crotch out of a low flying duck. That's why pizza and Tim Tams were invented.Marijuana is very useful for fighting nausea associated with treatments such as chemotherapy and also stimulating the hunger of people who have lost their appetite due to said treatments. I'm sure you'll agree that if you are fighting a deadly disease, not eating aint a way to help you in the fight. |
