Yes, I am aware that this is incredible self indulgent and tacky, but fuck it. ‘So you may have notice that I have been a bit of a shadow around these parts lately. Part of the reason is that I just started my own record label. It is called Dangerfive and I just released a compilation entitled ‘The Danger Sessions.’ I have been told that it is a hit record and that kids will love it. So if you want to check out the labels site it is www.dangerfive.com. You can guess which songs on the comp me and mosrite play on.

Hey Rocket I just listened to your demo record store. It sounds great. I say keep it acoustic and beef up the base a little. You know how everyone loves the big base sound. The Hardcore Show Sounds cool. Did I hear her say something about Kathy Lee, and Frank Gifford? Oh, I get it. Hey, was that Centipede in the far background? I really likes it. This is jogger not being sarcastic. |

Jogger, The record song is my friend Colin. We have already rerecorded song with keyboards and such. It is on his 'Sometimes the nice boy wins.' The hardcore show song was recorded on a tape deck to tape deck with a realist mixer. It is the lowest of lo-fi.here is a sample of a song off the comp: http://www.dangerfive.com/mp3/360.mp3 Rockjock, there is no extra shipping charges, I am nice like that. |

I don't believe in shameless self-promotion. It shows a contempt for the power of your own work. But, needless to say, I wanna copy. I need fresh, new music....*droooooool* |

That sample track...Catchy stuff. And I like the lyrics. Too many songs nowadays don't have lyrics that provoke any kind of thought. I want a copy. Is that one off of the dangersessions? |

Dear Jonathan Q RocketI am writing to inform you that your compilation sucks many cocks. It's designed for bowl heads with bad turtle neck sweaters, and retarded college students trying to be alternative. If I could, I would sue you for producing this trash. Sadly no legal precedent exists. Also, your friend has a silly lisp and can't say "I feel like a husk but" properly. Please send me a free copy, Regards Tostito |

Only advice I can give you: Pay attention to production. Sometimes the extra money spent on it can be worth it. |

On the other hand, you don't want it to sound like a muddy crap. Take your time in the studio, and make sure it sounds clean. |

Agreed. Quantity may get you more fans, but quality keeps them there. Take it from a man who professionally dubs tapes...video tapes, but nevertheless.... |

hey i like a lot of songs that sound like muddy crap...all of lou barlows early stuff sounds like muddy muddy crapola(ie. the song stronger) and i still love it...i think it's the quality of the song that counts, not the quality of the recording...hey johnny rocket(or should i say johnny rocker) have your A&R dept. get in touch with me. i'm interested in possibly signing to dangerfive. |

I can't believe you just told me to talk to the hand. I thought you hit bottom ages ago, apparently not.But nevermind, shrink behind the 'I promised someone I wouldn't fight with you anymore' excuse and call in an even more inept life form to try and ward me away. I think I've covered everything pertinent anyway. |
